Mondays to Fridays (maybe some weekends when needed)

6:30am start time till around 3:30pm or later

 The Role:

We are currently recruiting for full-time, AZ truck drivers, that has flatbed experience hauling steel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• The driver will need to have the tie down experience as well as some items require to be chained to the trailer bed
• most loads consist of material being shipped throughout Southern Ontario for a metal distribution
• Conducting circle checks and utilizing electronic log-books
• Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and organized fashion
• Working closely with dispatch to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:

• Valid AZ commercial license
• Minimum of 5 years of safe commercial driving experience with a clean CVOR
• Minimum of 2 years hauling steel with Flatbed
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including computer acumen and basic mathematics abilities
• Ability to interact with customers and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all four seasons
