AZ short automotive run

We are currently looking for a few AZ drivers to do a dedicated automotive run from London to Alliston. Various evening and night shift start times, no touch freight.

Pays approximately $150/hour per shift, shift is 7 – 7.5hours long.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 full years verifiable driving experience
• Acceptable CVOR and Driver Abstracts
• Be a team player with a positive attitude
• Ideally be able to driver standard transmission truck
• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s licence in good standing
• Must speak, write and read in English
• Good working knowledge of legislation relating to commercial transport activity

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough pre-trip inspections
• Operate in a safe manner consistent with all company and MTO requirements
• Deliver freight to a specific group of customers
• Complete daily road sheets and maintain log books
• Communicate and coordinate daily activities with dispatcher
• Accurately complete all paperwork requirements
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights and brakes
