AZ Driver – US FAST loads

We are currently looking for several AZ drivers to run no touch, automotive FAST freight into Michigan and back daily. All runs start and finish is St. Thomas, Ontario. Candidates should be willing to work afternoons or night shift.

This pays $24.50/hour on payroll

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 full years verifiable AZ driving experience
• Acceptable CVOR and Driver Abstracts
• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s licence in good standing
• A clean criminal search report, current to 30 days
• Have a current valid FAST card
• Be able to pass a MTO drug test
• Ideally, be able to drive a manual transmission truck
• Be a team player with a positive attitude
• Must speak, write and read in English
• Good working knowledge of legislation relating to commercial transport activity

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough pre-trip inspections
• Operate in a safe manner consistent with all company and MTO requirements
• Transport freight to and from customer locations
• Complete daily road sheets and maintain log books
• Communicate and coordinate daily activities with dispatcher
• Accurately complete all paperwork requirements
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights and brakes etc.
