Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable DZ Experienced Volumetric Concrete Driver / Labourer to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment (DZ) Concrete truck, driving commercial vehicles, and assisting with concrete and paving projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, concrete work, and heavy equipment operation, with a focus on safety and efficiency on job sites. This is a physical job.

Duties

• This involves driving to and from multiple job sites in a day, maneuvering the truck off road and operating the truck when at site also interacting with customers. Note this job is 20% driving and remainder operating the truck, anyone looking for strictly a driving job this would not be for you. We will pair you with an experienced operator until you are competent. If you have experience with concrete is a benefit at very least experience in the construction industry so you know what to expect.
• Drive commercial vehicles with DZ license to transport materials and equipment to various job sites
• Assist with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and related tasks to ensure quality workmanship
• Perform general labour tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled trades as needed
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols and operating equipment responsibly
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly
• Skills
• 3 years DZ experience with experience in the construction industry
• Experience in construction environments with a focus on concrete work
• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation
• Valid DZ commercial driver’s license with clean driving record
• Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and related construction practices
• Strong physical stamina for manual labour
• Excellent safety awareness to maintain a secure work environment
